Nikki graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, where she had met her future husband, Sam. She attended law school at DePaul and graduated Cum Laude from Hamlin Law School in St. Paul, Minnesota in the spring of 2004. She passed the Illinois Bar exam on her first try and became a full fledged lawyer in November of 2004. She is expecting her first child in April of 2006.
