Only scattered information about James in the Thurston genealogies, but we know his wife's name and that he probably settled in Exeter, NH. He was named on his father's will of 17 January, 1692/3 and bequeathed 'a parcel of land lying in Newbury known by the name of my Rake Lott" along with his 'pistolls and houlsters.' 1
James married Mary PEARSON, daughter of Samuel PEARSON and Mary POORE, on 24 Jan 1693. (Mary PEARSON was born on 27 Oct 1671 in Rowley, MA 2 and died on an unknown date.)
