Not much at all is known about Samuel except that he married into the daughter of two other 'old' and distinguished New Haven families, the Allings and the Bradleys.
Samuel married Sarah ALLING, daughter of John ALLING and Ellin BRADLEY, on 7 Jul 1691 in New Haven, Connecticut. (Sarah ALLING was born on 25 Nov 1666 in New Haven, Connecticut and died on 26 Sep 1742 in New Haven, Connecticut.)
